Birmingham Core Strategy Public Consultation Venues

There are two opportunities this week for residents of B44 to get the chance to offer their feelings and thoughts on the Birmingham Core Strategy Plan. The area covering B44 of Great Barr, Kingstanding and Oscott is split between two constituencies Erdington and Perry Barr. As a consequence B44 gets no public consultation venue in this area, instead residents will have to travel to the venues mentioned below:-

Tuesday 8th February
Erdington Library
Orphanage Road
Birmingham B24 9HP
9.15am to 4.45pm

Friday 11th February Asda Perry Barr
One Stop
Walsall Rd
Birmingham B42 1AB
12.30pm to 6.30 pm

For all of Birmingham’s Public Consultation Venues please look here.

There two venues are two miles apart by car, which goes against the Birmingham Core Strategy Plan response to the B44 on Twitter that that Sutton is bigger and therefore people will have to travel further in Sutton to these venues, whereas in B44 the two venues of Erdington and Perry Barr are 3.7 miles apart by car. The area in between is B44…
