Please read the following press release from BVSC

Kingstanding’s creativity and talents is happening on 16th July. It’s an exciting opportunity for us all to see the hidden talents of local residents and organisations.

Perry Common Community Hall will play host to showcasing local artwork, with exhibitions, demonstrations, competitions and a craft fair.

We have a special guest Beano artist attending, Hunt Emerson, who will be displaying pages from The Beano, from his other comic books and some other illustration work. He will also be there in person to chat and do some sketching. Hunt has received several comic industry awards and is known internationally for his work. This is the first time he has displayed his work locally!!

Alongside this, you will notice ‘Woolly Bully’ on the Ring. An actual size replica of the Bull in the bullring, Bully will be sporting a multicoloured coat of knitted squares. These have been lovingly crafted by local people and sewn together to create a wonderfully cohesive community art project!
